Shortly About

Photography is the art of taking photographs. Simply put, it is painting pictures using light. It is a process involving a light-proof box, a small window or opening and a 'canvas'. The best photographs concentrate on a few basic elements.

Documentary photography in particular must have a strong point of view, a deliberate and meaningful composition avoiding sensationalism.

In my work it is imperative for me that information be accurate and the images must be respectful of the subject and viewer.

MY goal is to combine creativity with practicality to capture the best possible images to document events, tell a story, meet the picture editor's deadlines.

I would like to contribute to this increasing awareness.
